Background
Omar previously worked for the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority as an Analyst within the investments and securities division. At the Authority, he focused predominantly on the onsite inspection of licensed mutual fund administrators and securities and investment business licensees such as investment advisors, arrangers and mangers. Prior to that he was an administrator within the internal finance department at Rawlinson & Hunter.
