Our Internship Programme aims to provide meaningful work experience through a holistic learning environment. Placements are available in legal services and financial services.
Students participating in our Internship Programme are exposed to real-life work experience, facilitated training, interactive workshops, e-learning platforms, group work and independent assignments.
Each student has a dedicated supervisor who acts as a mentor and assigns and evaluates their daily work, providing real-time feedback and regularly throughout the programme.
Applicants to our Internship Programme must be Caymanian / Status Holders who are at least 16 years of age at the start of their placement. We welcome individuals with varying levels of business knowledge and skills and try wherever possible to match interns to areas of business in which they have expressed an interest. Final placements are subject to availability and interest.
Our Legal Services Internship is available during the summer and offers placements in five distinct legal practice areas. Additionally, opportunities may be available within our business services departments, including human resources, IT, marketing and accounts, among others.

Our Financial Services Internship offers placements in regulatory services, fund administration, global entity services, fiduciary, compliance, company secretarial, liquidations or accounting.

Our Internship Programme aims to give you an idea of what it is like to work as a trainee at the Maples Group in Dublin. The programme is our primary recruitment process for future traineeships, providing an excellent platform for those interested in securing a training contract with us.
These programmes will form the basis of your future career development but are also intended to stimulate and challenge you as an individual. We offer Articles of Clerkship in our Cayman Islands office, Traineeships in our Dublin office and Legal Internships in our Luxembourg office.
