OVERVIEW

Chris is an associate of Maples and Calder's Regulatory & Financial Services team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office.  He provides advice on a wide range of regulatory matters, including Cayman Islands Monetary Authority licensing and registrations, AEOI, economic substance, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, and data protection.  

BACKGROUND

Chris joined the Maples Group in 2021.  He previously worked for another international law firm in the Cayman Islands and, before that, was based in London.  His work experience in London included roles at Barclays Investment Bank, Browne Jacobson and PwC.  Chris has been recommended by Legal 500 where clients describe him as 'very capable' and "practical and good to work with."
