The Maples Group (“the Group”) continues to be recognised in information security management and privacy information management by having retained its ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019 certifications.
The certifications cover security and privacy controls and include the Group’s proprietary eServices and Phoenix platforms. The eServices and Phoenix platforms provide secure web-based portals for clients to access and manage their global entity information.
The ISO recognition is testament to the Group’s ongoing commitment to the highest-quality processes and technology. The certifications also demonstrate the capability of the Group’s platforms to protect the security and privacy of client data.
“Renewing our ISO 27001 security and ISO 27701 privacy certifications for 2026 is more than a point-in-time compliance milestone. It is a clear signal of how seriously we take data security and privacy in an increasingly complex and accelerated threat environment. In the age of AI, where data is both a strategic asset and a heightened point of risk, robust governance, disciplined controls and human judgment matter more than ever,” commented Robert Eryou, Chief Information Security Officer at the Group. “Cyber and privacy threats are evolving faster, becoming more nuanced and more interconnected. Our approach continues to evolve alongside them. These certifications reflect the strength of our people, our proprietary platforms and our ability to integrate security and privacy by design across the business. Ultimately, they reinforce our commitment to protecting our clients’ data, enabling innovation responsibly and sustaining the trust that underpins everything we do.”
The ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019 certifications are awarded through an independent, expert audit that determines whether the systems and controls demonstrate and align with effective operation. Certification is achieved through an accredited body and provides further assurance to clients that the organisation’s information security and privacy practices meet international standards.
“An emphasis on trust and accountability extends across the Group’s privacy leadership. Privacy ultimately is about respect for people and the data they entrust to us,” Rupa Pattni, Group Data Protection Officer, added. “These certifications reflect a strong culture of accountability across the firm and a shared commitment to doing the right thing, even as technologies and risks rapidly evolve.”
