Maples Group is pleased to have advised and supported Polaris CG Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“Polaris”) in connection with the establishment of its flagship Polaris VI Series Funds (the “Funds”).
The Funds held their final closing on 28 April 2026, reaching their aggregate hard cap with commitments of over ¥200 billion (approximately US$1.2 billion). They attracted significant investor interest from both domestic and international institutions, with the fundraising closing after the Funds exceeded their target amount. This milestone marks the largest fundraise in Polaris’s 22-year history.
A team of lawyers based in the firm’s Hong Kong office acted as Cayman Islands counsel and was led by Funds & Investment Management Partners, Sharon Yap and Aidan O’Regan, with additional support provided by the Maples Group’s Fiduciary Services team.
The Maples Group’s Funds & Investment Management practice provides support to many of the industry’s heavyweights, as well as new entrants to the market, advising on the structuring and establishment of investment funds across the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Ireland, Jersey and Luxembourg.
