Terence is a partner of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Hong Kong office.  He specialises in investment funds and has been working in this practice area for over 20 years.  His practice covers all types of investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, hedge and hybrid funds.  His clients include asset managers, banks, insurance companies, brokers, distributors, professional trustees and fund administrators in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Australia. Given his fluency in the Chinese language, he advises a large number of Chinese fund sponsors on both China inbound and outbound funds.

Terence has been ranked as a leading individual in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific. The publication says: "The professional and very diligent Terence Ho is picking up a significant amount of work from PRC fund sponsors, which are appreciative of not only his excellent quality of work but also his ability to speak and write in Cantonese and Mandarin."

Terence joined the Maples Group in 2007 and became a partner in late 2013.  Previously, he worked in Australia at Freehills, Credit Suisse (secondment), and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
