Owen is Of Counsel in the Funds & Investment Management team of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg).
He advises on the structuring, restructuring, formation, launch and ongoing operation of all forms of Luxembourg alternative investment funds pursuing a wide range of strategies, including private equity, infrastructure, real estate and fund-of-funds, with a recent focus on private credit. He also advises on Luxembourg regulatory matters concerning alternative investment fund managers, portfolio managers, administrators, depositaries and other service providers in the alternative investment sector. Owen has also advised clients on the migration of foreign-domiciled investment fund structures to Luxembourg.
Owen joined the Maples Group in 2026. He was previously a counsel in the investment management practice of a leading Luxembourg law firm, having joined as a junior advisor in 2013.
Owen was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2019.
