Dominic Whitaker

Dominic is Deputy Global Head of Fund Services at the Maples Group, based in the firm’s Montreal office. In this role, Dominic provides leadership across the Fund Services business, with a focus on operations, driving global consistency, governance and continuous improvement throughout all client service delivery channels.

Dominic has extensive experience consulting with clients across wide range of fund structures and asset classes, along all stages of a fund’s life cycle. He works closely with asset managers and their legal counsel, and with internal teams across the Group, to provide technical and operational guidance on complex fund structures, transactions and risk management matters.

Having previously worked in fund accounting, data management and client onboarding, Dominic brings deep operational and technology expertise to the business. He is particularly focused on operational readiness, control frameworks and scalable processes that support growth while maintaining regulatory and service excellence.

Prior to joining Maples, Dominic worked in the United Kingdom and later with KPMG in the Cayman Islands.
