David specialises in providing client accounting services to investment funds and structured finance vehicles. David takes a client-first approach to his job, working with clients to identify
their regulatory and reporting requirements and how Maples can best assist.
He is experienced in both IFRS and US GAAP and has been involved in the successful design and implementation of multiple accounting software systems.
David obtained his Chartered Accountant designation with Deloitte in Toronto, Canada. He has held a variety of roles in the asset management industry, including hedge fund administration
(HedgeServ, Cayman Islands) and client accounting (Maples Group, Cayman Islands and Montreal). Most recently David looked after the middle office and investment reporting for a well-known multi-family office in Montreal, Canada.
