For the sixth year in a row, the Maples Group was named one of Montreal’s Top Employers. Among the reasons for selection include a commitment to mentorship and outstanding career development programmes.

The Maples Group has been named to the list of Montreal’s Top Employers for the sixth year in a row. Among the criteria that MediaCorp Canada Inc., the publisher of the nationwide Canada’s Top 100 Employers series, cited in the Group’s repeat nomination and selection to the list are the firm’s commitment to career and leadership development and mentorship.

Since its opening in October 2009, the Montreal office has grown to more than 375 employees working across an array of services and functions including fund administration, compliance, accounting, finance, marketing, project management, information technology and human resources. Illustrative of the Maples Group’s dedication to employee development and training, the company offers extensive programs to facilitate collaboration and mobility among multi-disciplinary teams and a broad training offering to develop both technical and soft skills.

The Montreal office has made multiple headlines this year: In addition to offering an award-winning workplace environment, the office launched its new Canadian Fund Administration Services business line, a service to accommodate Canada’s growing accredited investor market, geared toward the operational requirements of Canadian-domiciled funds.

“We are proud to be recognised again as one of Montreal’s top employers” says Deputy Global Head of Fund Services Mark Weir, who is based in Montreal. “With colleagues representing 50 nationalities across a wide array of functions, we’ve focused on building an environment where people can learn, lead, and contribute in meaningful ways. As we expand our services in 2026, we will continue to invest into our people and deliver value to clients in Canada and around the world.”

The Montreal office is not the only location of the Maples Group to have received accolades for its company culture. In February the Dublin office was recognised as one of Ireland’s Best Workplaces 2026 and for the third consecutive year as a Great Place to Work.
