Maples Group Advises Glenwood on US$1.1 Billion South Korea-Focused Fund
The Maples Group is pleased to have advised Glenwood Private Equity (“Glenwood”) on the formation of Glenwood Private Equity Fund III, with total commitments of approximately US$1.1 billion.

Glenwood is a leading independent investment firm headquartered in Seoul that primarily focuses on buyout opportunities in Korea with cumulative assets under management of US$3.9 billion.
A team of lawyers based in the firm’s Hong Kong office acted as Cayman Islands legal counsel to Glenwood and was led by Partner in the Funds & Investment Management team, Sharon Yap, and Of Counsel, Dan Won. The Maples Group’s Fiduciary Services team was led by Global Head of Fiduciary, Charlie Sparrow, who supported the launch of the Fund.
