Maples Group Recognised as Montreal Top Employer

Over the past five decades, the Group has expanded to become a preeminent international provider of legal, fiduciary and fund services with offices in 18 locations. Its Montreal office opened in 2009 and since then has seen significant growth, more than tripling its headcount over the past five years and hiring more than 30% of its current complement of employees since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Montreal office offers career opportunities to professionals across a wide range of disciplines, including accounting, information technology, finance, human resources, marketing, and compliance. In 2020, over 10,000 applications were received for 60 open positions. The Group has also been able to evolve many of its employee engagement programs for a virtual environment. At the same time, new initiatives have been introduced to ensure the team continues to feel connected, engaged and supported. These include virtual town hall meetings and market updates, a work-from-home photo contest, gift drops, virtual team lunches and other social events.
