Silvia Nani

Silvia Nani is a Global Fund Registration Senior Executive at Maples Group in Dublin. She has an Italian legal background and has developed specialist expertise in funds and asset management, including ESG issues, with a particular focus on cross-border distribution across the EEA and in international markets.

Since joining Maples Group in March 2026, Silvia has been advising clients on cross-border distribution matters relating to UCITS and AIFs, including passporting, national private placement regimes, private placements outside the EEA and listings on stock exchanges across Europe.

Before joining Maples Group, Silvia was Senior Legal Counsel and subsequently Head of Sustainability and Product Manager at a leading Dublin-based Super ManCo. In that role, she gained experience across a broad range of products and asset classes, including ETFs, funds of funds and structured products domiciled in Ireland and Luxembourg, with Italy as a key distribution hub. She also advised on SFDR and Taxonomy-related matters, including the integration of ESG considerations into the investment decision-making process.

Earlier in her career, Silvia worked at a global firm specialised in cross-border fund distribution, from 2015 to 2020, initially as a legal adviser and later as Co-Head of the Dublin office.
