Samantha Fu serves as an independent director on a wide range of alternative investment funds including hedge funds, funds of funds, segregated portfolio companies, private equity funds and related structures.
Previously, Samantha worked at Waystone who provide fund governance as well as compliance for investment funds. Prior to this, she was a Fund Manager at RF Fund Management where she assisted with MAS licensing and fund setup as well as the investment process and managing relationships with start-up founders and strategic partners. Samantha was also involved in fund operations as well as monitoring of regulations and overall governance. Before that, she was a Portfolio Manager at AL Wealth Partners. She was responsible for ensuring alignment of portfolio allocations with the firm’s overall investment philosophy. Portfolio strategies include multi-asset long-only strategies and high-yield fixed income strategies.
