Maples Group’s Irish and Luxembourg Tax Practices Earn Further Recognition from International Tax Review
Maples and Calder, the Maples Group’s law firm, has once again demonstrated its distinctive Tax expertise in both Ireland and Luxembourg amongst the world’s international law firms. Both Tax practice groups continue to be named among the leading Tax advisers in the International Tax Review (“ITR”) World Tax 2027 rankings.

The firm’s Irish Tax practice1 retains its Tier 1 position for General Corporate Tax, its ranking for Transfer Pricing and notably is also recognised in the Indirect Tax category for the first time. The Luxembourg Tax practice2 retains its rankings for General Corporate Tax and Transactional Tax and is also included in the Transfer Pricing category. This enhanced multi-jurisdictional recognition confirms the firm’s standing as one of the region’s leading legal Tax advisers.
Several of the firm’s Tax professionals in both Ireland and Luxembourg are also recognised individually in the ITR World Tax Leaders 2027 guide. Global Head of Tax Andrew Quinn, Tax Principal James O’Neal and Partners William Fogarty and Lynn Cramer are named ‘Highly Regarded’ practitioners in their jurisdictions. Noteworthy deals included advising volofin Capital Management on its award winning US$446 million aviation loan ABS; AIB on its €35 million equity investment in the Avenue Homebuilder Capital Solutions Fund; and StepStone on the establishment of a new private credit ELTIF.
