The Maples Group, a global legal and financial services firm of nearly 3,000 professionals across 15 offices worldwide, proudly celebrates a landmark 20 years in Ireland. Over the last two decades, the Group has experienced remarkable growth fuelled by a commitment to innovation and collaboration and now enjoys a reputation as the largest international provider of legal services, financial and corporate services solutions in Ireland.
As part of a series of events to mark this significant milestone, the Group hosted around 700 international and domestic clients, industry and community partners and colleagues at the iconic Guinness Storehouse in Dublin for an evening of celebration.
Since opening its Ireland office in 2006, the Maples Group has achieved extraordinary growth while making a meaningful contribution to the Irish economy and serving as a catalyst for domestic and international business growth. To date, the Group has created over 550 jobs in Ireland and advises over 11,000 clients including financial institutions, corporations, asset managers, aviation lessors, technology companies and institutional investors operating in this jurisdiction. The Maples Group also takes seriously its role as a good corporate citizen and actively supports the local community. Through its CSR programme, the Group maintains deep relationships with charity partners, pro-bono and community sports organisations, including Irish Rule of Law International, Early Learning Initiative, DCU Educational Trust, Irish Cancer Society, Pieta House, Focus Ireland, Museum of Literature Ireland, FoodCloud, Basis Point, Business in the Community, Goal, Dublin Pride, FLAC, St Mary’s College RFC and UCD Soccer, among others.
The Maples Group has also played an important role in supporting Ireland’s position as a key business hub in Europe through its extensive industry representation internationally and consistent involvement in industry “firsts”. The Group remains firmly committed to Ireland’s future, investing in local talent and further evolving its differentiated offering for both domestic and international clients. In addition, exciting plans are underway to co-locate the entire Group in one landmark headquarters in Dublin city centre. This property project will comprise of over 100,000 sq. ft. Grade A commercial office space on St. Stephen’s Green will bring the Group’s lawyers, professionals and technologists together under one roof, enhancing collaboration and delivering seamless client service.
