The move represents a significant investment in Ireland and a milestone in the Group’s long-term strategy as it celebrates 20 years in Ireland. With over 550 team members in Dublin—its second largest office globally—and almost 3,000 colleagues worldwide, the Group is uniting its Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP and MaplesFS teams to reinforce a “One Group” model in a single, integrated environment. The redevelopment of the iconic St. Stephen’s Green building will target enhanced sustainability performance and incorporate facilities designed to promote the health and wellbeing of colleagues, while enabling best in class client service.
Peter Stapleton, Managing Partner, EMEA, commented: “This is a pivotal moment for the Maples Group. Currently, our leading international law firm and full-scale financial services business are in different locations in Dublin. Bringing all our Dublin teams together at 75 St. Stephen’s Green will create a single, integrated headquarters that embodies our One Group vision—where legal and financial services work side by side to deliver truly seamless solutions for clients. As we mark our 20th anniversary in Ireland, this investment underlines our long-term commitment to the market and our confidence in the next phase of our growth here.
Stephen O’Donnell, Global Head of Fiduciary, added: “Uniting our teams in one state-of-the-art, sustainable workplace at the heart of St. Stephen’s Green is about setting our people and our clients up for long-term success. A single, purpose-built space will accelerate collaboration across disciplines, strengthen our culture and create capacity for future growth. Our clients’ needs are evolving and increasingly cross-border; this move ensures we can respond with the scale, agility and integrated capabilities that distinguish the Maples Group in Ireland and globally.”
The relocation will follow a phased timeline aligned to a full-shell-and-core renovation and subsequent fit-out of 75 St. Stephen’s Green. During this period, the Group will implement a consultation-led workplace strategy to shape the design, technology and client experience of the new headquarters. On completion, the building will consolidate the Group’s presence in Ireland in a single location, enabling enhanced connectivity across practice areas and business lines and supporting the delivery of market-leading legal and financial services to Irish and international clients.
The Maples Group remains focused on expanding its capabilities in Ireland and across its global network, combining market-leading legal advice with integrated fiduciary, administration, management, compliance and entity services to support clients throughout the full lifecycle of their businesses and investments.
