Maples Group Advises the Shareholders and Management Team of KTL on Private Equity Investment by Exponent

Founded in 1998, KTL has grown from a small civil engineering contractor into an established provider of critical telecoms and power infrastructure services, employing more than 600 people across Ireland and the UK and generating revenues of over €100 million in its most recent financial year. Exponent, a leading European private equity firm, is backing the incumbent management team, led by CEO Alan Hanamy, with investment in capabilities, workforce capacity and service offering.

A team of lawyers from the group’s Dublin office provided Irish legal counsel to the shareholders and management team of KTL on the transaction. The Corporate team was led by Partners Morgan Pierse and Jordan O’Brien and supported by Associates Shane Divilly, Emma Sheehy, James Reidy and Evelyn Soye.
