Ann Ng and Harjit Kaur Honoured Once Again as One of Hedge Fund Journal’s 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2026

The Maples Group is pleased to announce that two of its Funds & Investment Management partners, Ann Ng, Regional Managing Partner for Asia and Head of the Asia Funds & Investment Management team, and Harjit Kaur, Head of the London Funds & Investment Management team, have been recognised once again in the 2026 edition of The Hedge Fund Journal’s 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds.

Published annually, the report recognises women from across the global hedge fund industry who have made significant contributions to the sector and continue to play influential roles within their organisations and the wider investment management community.

Ann Ng

Based in Hong Kong, Ann is a leading adviser to fund managers, institutional investors and family offices on the structuring, launch and operation of the alternative investment funds across Asia and beyond. Her practice spans hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate and infrastructure strategies, where she clients navigate complex regulatory, governance and operational considerations.

Ann serves on the Executive Committee of AIMA Hong Kong and the AIMA Japan Tax and Regulatory Committee. She is also Co-Chair of the Maples Group’s Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee and is committed in mentoring and developing the next generation of industry leaders.

Harjit Kaur

Based in London, Harjit specialises in the establishment and maintenance of Cayman Islands alternative investment funds, including hedge funds, hybrid funds and private equity funds, advising leading European fund managers and asset management businesses on fund formation, regulatory compliance, restructurings, tokenised fund structures and broader digital asset strategies.

A longstanding advocate for the advancement of women in financial services, Harjit is a member of 100 Women in Finance and regularly leads initiatives focused on networking and relationship building within the investment management industry. She is also actively involved in mentoring colleagues and junior lawyers across the London office.

I am delighted to be named among The Hedge Fund Journal's 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2026. Over the course of my career, I have been fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and clients who continue to inspire and challenge me. This recognition is especially meaningful given the calibre of the individuals featured and the continued evolution of the global hedge fund industry.
