Shari Howell

Shari is a partner of Maples and Calder’s Finance team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office.  She has extensive experience advising on asset finance transactions, with an emphasis on aircraft financing and leasing deals, including transactions with capital markets or Islamic elements, aircraft registrations, vessel financing and registrations, and general corporate commercial matters.  She principally advises commercial banks, financial institutions, European export credit agencies, airlines and aircraft lessors.

Shari joined the Maples Group in 2006, and has completed secondments in Dubai and Hong Kong from 2013 to 2015.  She has been named on Airfinance Journal’s list of rising stars and recognised by Who’s Who Legal and Legal 500.
