OVERVIEW
Desmond is an associate of Maples and Calder's Corporate team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office. Desmond advises on corporate, commercial and partnership law. He specialises in investment funds, corporate restructurings, regulation, structured and project finance. Desmond also has expertise in assisting clients who wish to establish a presence, and conduct business, in the Cayman Islands, including family offices.
BACKGROUND
Desmond joined the Maples Group in 2001. He previously worked for a local law firm and, prior to that, for Butterfield Bank in the Cayman Islands.
