OVERVIEW
Akshay is an associate of Maples and Calder's Corporate team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office. His experience involves all aspects of corporate and commercial work, including advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, formation and restructuring of all types of investment funds, joint ventures, corporate restructures and general regulatory aspects.
BACKGROUND
Akshay joined the Maples Group in 2021. He began his career with Gadens in Melbourne, Australia before practising as an attorney with another international law firm in the Cayman Islands from 2018.
