The US market has been particularly busy and by the end of May we had already facilitated over 144% more US CLO formations compared to that same period last year. However, the major difference has been a surge in refinancing and reset activities, where we have received over 125 instructions to date – of which more than half have closed so far. Our colleagues across Europe have been similarly busy, as market fundamentals have spurred a similar uptick in activity levels and refinancing transactions.
