Shuhui Li

Shuhui brings over 15 years of experience in fund administration, fund operations and compliance, covering a range of funds including hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds and segregated portfolio companies.

Prior to joining the Maples Group, Shuhui worked as the Operations and Compliance lead in several startups in the crypto, tokenization and wealth management industries, including Prudential Wealth Management Singapore Pte. Ltd.  Previously, she held the position of Vice President of Operations and Compliance, facilitating the setup of a billion-dollar Chinese single-family office, managing fund setup and licensing through to fund launch. She was also involved in middle to back-office functions, as well as acting as Director and AML Compliance Officer of the fund.

She also covered operations and compliance at a long / short hedge fund, reporting directly to the CEO and CIO.

Before that, she worked at fund services firms Citco Fund Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Apex Fund Services (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., where she gained end to end knowledge of the fund administration workflow, performing periodic calculations on funds and portfolio companies, valuation of fund instruments, subscriptions and redemptions, planning and execution of capital calls, transfer agency and stakeholder management, etc.
