Areas of Expertise
Ryan is an associate of Maples and Calder’s Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office. He regularly acts for financial institutions, investors and insolvency practitioners in a range of contentious matters. He is particularly experienced in dealing with cross-border insolvency and corporate restructuring matters (including schemes of arrangement), investment fund disputes and alleged breaches of directors’ duties.
Ryan joined the Maples Group in 2018. He previously worked for Ashurst in Sydney and for an offshore firm in the Channel Islands.
Ryan is a member of the Cayman Islands Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association (RISA), the Cayman Islands Law Society and the Law Society of New South Wales.
