Rua has over 20 years of global experience in finance, investment accounting, and investor relations, with a focus on alternative investments and cross-border fund structures. Her extensive background spans diverse asset classes and jurisdictions, and she brings with her a unique blend of technical expertise and a holistic understanding of investor needs, an approach shaped by her dynamic exposure to both institutional and private investment environments.
Rua began her career in Saudi Arabia within the banking sector before joining SAIB BNP Paribas Asset Management as a Relationship Manager, where she deepened her expertise in investment operations and Investor Services. She later advanced her career in Canada through roles at SS&C Technologies – Hedge Funds Services Investor Relations and, most recently, at a prominent family office, where she managed complex investment reconciliations, financial reporting, and system migrations.
