Michael is a Partner of Maples and Calder’s Corporate team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office. His experience includes advising on a broad range of corporate and commercial transaction, including private equity, IPOs (including SPAC IPOs), secondary offerings, equity financings, mergers and acquisitions (including de-SPACs), joint ventures and restructurings. He also advises on all types of investment funds and also regularly advises boards, shareholders and other stakeholders on complex cross-border transactions, corporate reorganisations and general corporate governance matters.
Michael joined the Maples Group in 2013 and was elected as Partner in 2024.
Michael is a member of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association and is a Past-President of the Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association.
