Matthew is an Associate in Maples and Calder’s Corporate team in the Maples Group’s Dubai office. He advises on a range of corporate work under Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, restructurings and general corporate advisory work. He primarily advises clients based in the UAE and wider MENA region.
Matthew joined the Maples Group in 2026, having previously practised UAE law at another law firm in Dubai. Prior to that, he worked at international law firm in London handling cross border transactions, with a particular focus on acquisitions and equity capital markets.
