Lucy is Of Counsel in Maples and Calder’s Finance team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office. She has extensive experience of matters of Cayman Islands law working with the Finance team for many years. Over the last 10 years, Lucy has specialised in banking, capital call facilities, general fund financing and corporate financing as well as advising on derivatives matters and general corporate matters.
Lucy joined the Maples Group initially as a corporate assistant and paralegal before undertaking her legal training and qualifying as a Cayman Islands attorney-at-law in 2011. She was also seconded to MaplesFS in 2008-2009 and advised on the voluntary liquidation and dissolution of companies, partnerships and trusts.
