Louise is a partner of Maples and Calder’s Corporate team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office. Her experience includes advising financial institutions, investment managers, private equity sponsors, public and private businesses, investors and their onshore counsel on the structuring, formation and operation of a wide range of investment fund structures and a broad range of corporate and finance transactions, including private equity funds, hedge funds (and particularly funds of hedge funds), IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, debt financings and security arrangements.
Louise joined the Maples Group in 2011 and was elected as a partner in 2021. She previously worked for Norton Rose in London.
Louise is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association.
