Areas of Expertise
Lorraine is a partner of the Maples and Calder’s Finance team in the Maples Group’s Hong Kong office. Her practice covers corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, debt restructurings, acquisition and leveraged financing, debt capital markets, with particular focus on private equity investments, fund finance, pre-IPO financings, and IPOs of BVI and Cayman Islands companies on global stock exchanges, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and the United States. Lorraine also regularly advises clients in China on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions.
Lorraine joined the Maples Group in 2007 and was elected as a partner in 2016. She previously worked for Richards Butler in Hong Kong. Lorraine is a native Cantonese speaker and is fluent in Mandarin. She has been recommended by The Legal 500 and recognised as highly-regarded banking and finance lawyer by IFLR1000.
