With more than 9 years of international experience, Alec has driven and led dedicated teams in providing corporate and funds services for some of the world’s leading offshore law and financial-services firms, having previously worked at Deutsche Bank, Ogier and Maples and Calder (Cayman). With a background in law and investment advisory he has developed a specialised skillset across multiple jurisdictions focusing on the full life cycle of entities. As a leader, Alec believes in creating a culture of trust, cohesiveness and efficiency leading to client-centric results.
Alec is a fiduciary professional with cross-jurisdictional experience in Luxembourg and the Cayman Islands, specialising in end-to-end governance for corporate and fund vehicles. At Maples Group, he supports a diverse portfolio of Luxembourg entities, overseeing administrative, financial, legal, tax and compliance matters. He also contributes to recruitment and onboarding and is known for building high-performing, client-centred teams.
From July 2021 to 1 August 2025, Alec served as team lead for the corporate commercial and foreign office teams in the Cayman Islands. He delivered the full range of Cayman corporate and fund services in collaboration with colleagues in Dubai, London, Luxembourg, Hong Kong and Singapore. He has deep experience with CIMA, the Cayman Islands General Registry and the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange, full entity life cycle management including regulatory engagement and drafting constituent and transactional documentation across multiple entity types. Following Alec’s move to Luxembourg, Alec is focusing on CSSF regulated and unregulated alternative fund structures, private equity, real estate and debt.
