Areas of Expertise
Emma is an associate in Maples and Calder’s Corporate team in the Maples Group’s Dublin office. She advises on a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, corporate restructurings, and a variety of shareholder-related matters.
Emma joined the Maples Group as a trainee in 2018 and qualified into the Corporate Group in 2021. In 2022, she relocated to the London office on a four-year secondment before returning to the Dublin office.

- Advised MML Capital Partners on its growth capital investment in Mitchell McDermott
- Advised Meili Travel Technology on its series A funding round led by Schooner Capital and Tribal Adventures
- Advised Thermo Fisher Scientific on its acquisition of Solventum’s Irish purification and filtration business
- Advised Applied Materials on its acquisition of Impedans
- Advised Francisco Partners on its acquisition of IBM’s Watson Health
- Advised Sanlam on its joint venture with Allianz
- Advised Payemoji on a series of equity fundraisings
