David is an Of Counsel in Maple and Calder’s Construction and Development team. David is an Of Counsel in Maples and Calder’s Real Estate and Construction & Development teams in the Maples Group’s Dublin office, advising clients on all areas of commercial real estate.
David has wide-ranging experience across the Real Estate sector, specialising in construction, property development, and development finance and secured lending (including forward funding arrangements). He advises developers, funders, public authorities, and contractors across a large range of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across the commercial and residential development (Private Rented Sector (PRS), Build to Rent (BTR) and social housing), retail, hotels / aparthotels, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), data centres, transport, and pharmaceutical sectors.
David joined the Maples Group in 2026. He was previously a senior associate in another leading Irish law firm.
