Chantelle is Of Counsel in the Maples and Calder’s Regulatory team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office. She advises on a broad range of Cayman Islands regulatory matters, including licensing and registration requirements, regulatory approvals, anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance, economic substance, beneficial ownership, FATCA and CRS obligations, data protection, corporate governance, risk management and regulatory interactions with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. Chantelle works closely with clients to manage regulatory risk, implement practical compliance solutions and support strategic business objectives.
Chantelle joined the Maples Group in 2026. Prior to this, Chantelle was a partner and practice group head of the Regulatory team of another leading international law firm based in their Cayman Islands office. Earlier in her career, Chantelle was an associate at a leading offshore law firm practising investment funds and regulatory law. During this time, Chantelle gained international experience through secondments to offices in Ireland and London, as well as an in-house secondment with a leading global investment bank.
