Betsy Mortel

Betsy provides directorship and fiduciary administrative services to a wide range of structured finance products including CLO/CDOs, note issues, note and commercial paper programmes and securitisations, as well as investment fund vehicles.

Betsy first joined Maples in August 2009. In January 2022, she served as a consultant for Maples Group, delivering technical training to its Global Fiduciary team. She has since rejoined the Structured Finance department in August 2025. Previously, Betsy was a manager at Deloitte Cayman Islands specialising in investment funds and special purpose vehicles.
