Areas of Expertise
Ben is an Associate in Maples and Calder’s Structured Finance team based in the Dublin office. Ben advises on a broad range of finance, debt capital markets, and structured finance transactions. He also assists in structuring, negotiating, and restructuring finance transactions for global financial institutions, alternative lenders, private equity funds, arrangers, managers, investors, and issuers.
Ben joined Maples in 2023 as a trainee, having previously worked at a Dutch international law firm in Amsterdam and upon qualifying in 2026 he joined the Structured Finance team. During his training, Ben completed two secondments. In 2023, he was seconded to a global private markets firm in Dublin as part of the legal transactions team. In 2024, he undertook a six-month secondment to the Maples Group head office in the Cayman Islands, working within the Corporate and Finance teams.
