Antonie provides fiduciary services across a range of alternative investment fund structures, including hedge funds, unit trusts, private equity funds, segregated portfolio companies, and multi manager funds. He has over a decade of experience in the alternative investment industry. Antonie first joined the Maples Group in 2016 and was previously Vice President – Senior Account Manager in the Client Accounting team, focusing on financial statement preparation for a large portfolio of hedge and private equity fund clients reporting in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
Prior to this, Antonie worked for PwC in the Cayman Islands, providing accounting and assurance services to captive insurance and reinsurance clients. Previously, he worked in South Africa, where he specialised in accounting and assurance services across a broad range of industries, including financial services, engineering, construction, manufacturing, retail, and real estate.
