Areas of Expertise
Amel is an Of Counsel in Maples and Calder’s Corporate team in the Maples Group’s British Virgin Islands office. She specialises in the areas of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, initial public offerings, corporate reorganisations and general corporate governance. She also advises investment funds, in particular the establishment and maintenance of hedge funds and private equity funds.
Amel joined the Maples Group in 2018, having previously completed her training at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP in London, and prior to that, worked with Maples and Calder in London.
