The Hedgeweek European Emerging Manager Awards are based on research by the staff of Hedgeweek, a publication geared towards allocators, managers and service providers in the hedge fund industry, as well as a survey among a wide cross-section of hedge fund managers. Service providers that receive a large number of multiple nominations are named to the shortlist.
“We are proud that the breadth of our global experience and expertise across multiple fund domiciles has been recognised as industry-leading,” says Kieran Fox, Director, Business Development – Europe. “Supporting fund managers with solutions across multiple jurisdictions – and enabling them to readily access investors and portfolio assets around the world – is something that we believe truly differentiates the Maples Group.”
The Maples Group has had offices in Europe for more than 25 years, which includes Dublin, Jersey, London, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Nearly 1,000 of its roughly 2,800 global team members are based in the region. The Group’s European presence offers an array of services for alternative asset managers, including fund administration, third-party management (ManCo), legal, and fiduciary services.
The recognition comes on the heels of winning at the Hedgeweek US Awards, held in New York on 10 October. The Group took home an award in the “Offshore Regulatory and Compliance Firm of the Year” category. The Hedgeweek US Awards likewise are based on an industry vote of Hedgeweek’s readership, with nominations coming in from a survey of hedge fund managers.
