Maples Group Announces Three-Year Continued Sponsorship of Caymanian Golfer, Justin Hastings

The Maples Group is pleased to announce the extension of its sponsorship of professional Caymanian golfer Justin Hastings.

The Maples Group is proud to announce its continued sponsorship of professional Caymanian golfer, Justin Hastings, in a three-year agreement that will run until 31 December 2028.

Hastings, 21, who turned professional making his debut on the PGA Tour Americas on 24 July 2025, has quickly established himself as one of the Cayman Islands’ most promising sporting talents. As the first Caymanian golfer to compete at this level, he has already made significant strides in the international golf community and represents a source of pride for the Cayman Islands on the global stage.

The sponsorship underscores the Maples Group’s commitment to supporting local talent and fostering opportunities for Caymanians to excel internationally.  Scott Somerville, CEO, said:  “As the first Caymanian golfer to compete as a PGA Americas tour member, Justin represents both the talent and determination that make our islands so special.  At the Maples Group, we are committed to supporting homegrown excellence, and we are proud to stand behind Justin as he takes this next step on the international level.”

Somerville added:  “This sponsorship is about more than a sport; it is about Cayman’s story on a global level.  Justin’s success shows what is possible for our community, and we are proud to help him showcase Caymanian talent and determination to the world.”

Hastings expressed his appreciation for the partnership, noting that support from such a respected Caymanian organisation gives him both the confidence and resources to compete internationally while reminding him of the encouragement he carries from home.  He emphasised his commitment to making the Cayman Islands proud as he continues his journey abroad.
