Maples Advises Luna Systems on its funding from Investment Consortium
Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP, the Maples Group’s law firm, is pleased to have advised Luna Systems on its funding from an investment consortium.

Former Irish rugby captain, Brian O’Driscoll and two business partners have invested in Luna Systems, an Irish e-mobility start-up that will bring computer vision technology to e-scooters across Europe and the USA.
Luna Systems uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to improve e-mobility safety. The funding will be used to accelerate the global roll-out of Luna Systems’ technology across a range of cities, operators and vehicle types.
A team based in the Group’s Irish office advised Luna Systems on the Irish Corporate legal aspects of this transaction and was led by Patrick Quinlan.
Commenting on the transaction, Andrew Fleury, Chief Executive Officer at Luna Systems said: “We were delighted with the support and advice that we received from Paddy and the team in Maples. Their guidance brought us through the transaction smoothly and quickly”.
