In the Ignites Europe article, titled ‘Asset managers fret over ‘hardwiring’ of loan fund liquidity’, Aaron discusses the consultation including ESMA’s proposal for open-ended loan origination funds to have a minimum level of liquid assets. He predicts this topic will be a key focus for industry in the consultation after it became a contentious issue during the reform of the rules for European long-term investment funds (Eltifs) last year.
