Notice - Maples and Calder Ireland LLP

This is a notice to inform you that effective Tuesday, 1 December 2020 our law firm in Ireland, formerly called Maples and Calder LLP, will be known as Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP.  We wanted to make you aware of this update and assure you that there will be no changes in terms of our servicing capabilities. 

Despite a very challenging year for businesses around the globe, we are pleased to report that our Irish office continued to evolve in 2020.  In October of this year, we expanded our expertise with the appointment of Claire Morrissey who joined the firm as a Partner and head of the Data, Commercial and Technology practice.  Claire’s appointment is part of a long-term international investment strategy and follows a number of recent strategic appointments across our global offices to ensure that we continue to effectively meet the ever-changing needs of our clients.

The Maples Group has a global footprint of 18 offices worldwide and its European offices include Ireland, Jersey, London, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.  With over 700 of our 2000+ global team members based in the region, it is clear to see the Group's commitment to expanding our presence in both Ireland and across Europe.
