OVERVIEW

Yann is co-head of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg)'s Finance team at the Maples Group. With over 20 years’ experience practising in Luxembourg, Yann focuses his practice on leveraged finance, secured lending transactions, fund finance, securitisation, asset finance and debt capital markets. He advises private equity houses, alternative investment funds, financial institutions, multinational companies and high net worth individuals.

 

BACKGROUND

Yann joined the Maples Group in 2024. He was previously a partner at AKD in Luxembourg and, prior to that was at Dentons in Luxembourg.

Yann is recommended by Legal 500, where he is described as, “responsive and experienced." He provides “No fuss” efficient legal advice and excels at handling acquisition and asset finance mandates”.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Yann lectures Luxembourg corporate and financial law in the Master 2 “International and European Business Lawyer” (Master 2 Juriste d’Affaires International et Européen) at the Faculty of Law of Nancy (France) since 2006.

Member of the Competitiveness Working Group of the Luxembourg Maritime Cluster

Member of the Aviation Lawyers Committee of the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA)
