OVERVIEW

Vanessa is Of Counsel in the Banking team and has extensive experience advising a broad spectrum of lenders (Irish and International financial institutions, alternative lenders) and borrowers (trading companies, SPVs, funds, partnerships) on a range of domestic and cross-border finance transactions including real estate investment and development finance, funds finance (including subscription line financing), corporate debt, leveraged and acquisition finance, refinancings and restructurings.

BACKGROUND

Vanessa joined the Maples Group in 2016.  Prior to this, she spent six years working off-shore, most recently in Guernsey at Bedell Cristin, and in the British Virgin Islands. Vanessa was ranked as a 'Rising Star' in The Legal 500's EMEA 2020 Guide and clients praised her for her "professional and practical manner". IFLR 2020/2021 also ranked Vanessa as a "Rising Star".
