Shameika Gunzell

OVERVIEW

Shameika has over four years experience conducting audits at big 4 auditing firms in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), IFRS and US GAAP both in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.  She currently specialises in providing regulatory and compliance services relating to FATCA, CRS, economic substance and AFIMD depository-lite services.

BACKGROUND

Previously, Shameika worked at KPMG Jamaica as an Audit Accountant conducting audits on major companies in the banking and finance, retail and manufacturing sector in accordance to IFRS.  Her career journey continued at EY Cayman Islands, where she conducted audits in the capacity as a Senior Auditor in the wealth and asset management department, focusing on newly engaged and existing clients in private equity, hedge funds, fund of funds and banking sector.
