OVERVIEW

Ryan is an associate of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office. He advises private equity funds, hedge funds and other alternative investments funds on their establishment and maintenance. He also advises on Cayman Islands regulatory compliance matters.

BACKGROUND

Ryan joined the Maples Group in 2022. He previously worked at Stikeman Elliott LLP and Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP in Toronto as a tax lawyer focusing on private equity, hedge funds, mergers and acquisitions, public equity offerings, cross-border debt financing transactions and corporate reorganisations.
