OVERVIEW

Paul advises global asset managers and investment banks on the structuring, establishment and operation of all types of investment fund platforms, across a broad range of strategies, asset classes and liquidity.  

Paul also supports clients with their ongoing regulatory compliance on Irish and European legal and regulatory matters including UCITS, AIFMD and sustainable finance.

With a background in finance and banking, he has particular experience in fund finance, having acted for fund borrowers, financial institutions and alternative lenders, on both domestic and cross border transactions

BACKGROUND

Paul joined the Maples Group as a trainee in 2020 and qualified as a solicitor in 2023. During his traineeship, Paul spent time in the Maples office in Jersey and completed a secondment with a UK-based client.
