OVERVIEW
Niamh is a partner of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Dublin office. She advises clients on the establishment and on-going operation of Irish regulated investment funds and advising on the legal and regulatory developments impacting such investment funds.
Niamh has particular expertise in the ESG and sustainable investment space. She regularly advises asset managers on the implementation and compliance with the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulations and the Taxonomy Regulation.
Niamh also has strong expertise in UCITS regulation, in particular alternative UCITS and ETFs. She has significant experience in AIFs authorised under the Irish AIFMD regime.
BACKGROUND
Niamh joined the Maples Group as a trainee in 2008. On qualifying in 2011, she joined the Funds & Investment Management team.
IFLR1000 rank Niamh as a 'Rising Star Partner' and she was also recognised as a 'Rising Star' at the Euromoney European Women in Business Law Awards 2020.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Niamh is a member of Women in ETFs where she sits on the EMEA Mentoring Committee as a representative of the Dublin chapter.
